The wall tells you what it needs, if you look

Hairline cracks along ceiling joints, bubbling near bathroom walls, chalky powder on exterior surfaces: each symptom has a cause, and painting over it is a sixty day disguise. Exterior painting and community rules

Where owners want distinctiveness, gates, front doors and landscape walls usually offer the latitude facades do not. Not every wall wants paint.
