Built in and walk in wardrobes made in our own Dubai joinery workshop. We design the internals around your real wardrobe: hanging lengths, shelving, drawers, shoe storage and lighting, then fit everything to the millimetre.
At a Glance
Falak Almurjan designs and builds custom wardrobes in Dubai from its own Al Quoz workshop: walk in wardrobes, built ins, dressing rooms and whole home joinery. Projects typically cost AED 8,000 to 150,000 and deliver in 3 to 5 weeks, using moisture resistant construction suited to Dubai’s climate, soft close hardware and sensor lighting. Existing developer wardrobes can be rebuilt internally at a fraction of replacement cost. Every piece carries a workmanship warranty and the workshop remains available for future rework as needs change.

The complete guide
Dubai bedrooms are generous but rarely regular: bulkheads, curtain boxes, AC returns and pillars interrupt every wall. A freestanding wardrobe leaves dead gaps that collect dust; a custom wardrobe swallows the irregularity and turns every centimetre from floor to ceiling into storage. Built in also reads as architecture rather than furniture, which is exactly what buyers and tenants respond to in viewings.
We design from an audit of what you actually own: metres of long hanging versus short, folded stacks, shoes by type, bags, accessories that need shallow drawers. Standard wardrobes assume a standard wardrobe owner who does not exist. Counting first is why our clients stop using the spare room as an overflow cupboard.
A wardrobe opens and closes thousands of times a year. We build carcasses from moisture resistant board, face them in lacquer, veneer or glass to match your interior, and fit soft close hinges and runners rated for decades. Sliding systems get steel tracks that will not derail. Everything is repairable and every finish reproducible by our own workshop years later.
Converting a spare bedroom corner or an oversized master into a dressing area is one of the highest satisfaction projects we build. Open hanging under LED strips, an island of drawers where space allows, glass fronted sections for the pieces worth displaying, a mirror wall that doubles the light. We plan clearances honestly so drawers and doors never fight each other in real use.
Sensor activated LED strips that light the rail as the door opens, jewellery inserts lined in felt, valet rods for planning tomorrow, pull down rails that bring the top row within reach: these are inexpensive additions during manufacture and daily pleasures for years. We suggest the ones that fit how you actually dress, not a checklist.
Standard built in wardrobes run two to three weeks from confirmed design to installation, walk in projects three to five. Manufacture happens in our Al Quoz workshop while your room remains untouched; installation itself takes one to three tidy days. Because we also run full renovations, wardrobes routinely fold into larger bedroom or villa projects under the same contract and programme.
Humidity, dust and heat reach inside wardrobes here, and cheap wardrobe construction shows it within a year: swollen board, sticky runners, musty interiors. We build against the climate: moisture resistant carcass board throughout, edges properly sealed rather than left raw behind panels, ventilation gaps engineered where wardrobes meet external walls, and hardware specified from ranges that shrug off humidity. For wardrobes on external walls we also check for condensation risk, because a beautiful wardrobe growing mould behind your clothes is a design failure no finish can excuse.
The workshop that builds your wardrobe also builds everything else joinery can be: TV walls with hidden storage, study desks fitted to awkward alcoves, shoe cabinets for Dubai’s at the door culture, bathroom vanities matched to your wardrobe finishes, and full pantry systems. Clients frequently start with one bedroom and end with a joinery language running through the whole home, because consistency of finish and hardware is something only a single workshop can truly deliver. Wardrobe first is a fine way to test us.
Custom joinery lives or dies at the tape measure. Walls out of plumb, floors out of level and corners out of square are normal in Dubai construction, and a wardrobe built to nominal dimensions meets that reality with gaps and shims. Our surveyors measure each opening at multiple heights and depths, record the deviations, and the workshop builds to the real geometry, scribed panels absorbing what the room actually is. Installation then becomes precise assembly rather than improvisation. This is also why we re measure after any renovation works finish rather than trusting drawings: plaster and tile change dimensions by real millimetres. The difference shows silently, in shadow gaps that run parallel and doors that meet evenly, which is exactly how bespoke should announce itself.
Bespoke joinery should be a decade’s purchase, and small habits decide whether it is. Lacquered fronts want a damp microfibre cloth and nothing abrasive; veneers prefer dry dusting and distance from direct steam; hinges and runners accept a drop of light oil annually and repay it silently. Overloading is the quiet killer, rails carry what they were designed to carry, and we design generously, but a rail asked to hold double will eventually answer. Dubai’s summer humidity swings are absorbed by the moisture resistant construction, provided AC runs at least periodically in closed rooms, worth knowing for owners who lock villas for the summer. When life changes what you own, the workshop that built your wardrobe can rework its internals, convert hanging to shelving or add drawers, at a fraction of replacement cost. Our wardrobes carry a workmanship warranty, and behind it the only guarantee that matters: the company that made it still exists, still in Al Quoz, still answering the same number.

The storage audit sounded excessive until the wardrobe arrived and every single thing we own has a place. My shoe collection finally has a home.
Full wall wardrobes in three bedrooms, installed in two days, and the veneer matches our doors perfectly. Guests assume the building came this way.
A drawer runner failed after heavy use. Same workshop, same finish, replaced in a week. Buy from people who make their own things.

They rebuilt the internals of our developer wardrobes without touching the doors. Double the usable storage at a fraction of new.
Matching study desk, TV wall and wardrobes across the villa. One workshop, one finish, and it reads like architecture.
